Ruby Robinns is a cosmonaut of sorts, she’s studied many years of astronomy and other sciences, but wasn’t able to do any of the training before her first and only flight to date. She was called to duty after being the only one in knowledge of how to stop a strange phenomenon involving large swarming clouds of flies attempting to take over the moon. The incident is still being questioned and research, but thanks to her efforts, the planet is safe.

One of her more well-known side projects is her own space helmet, STAC (Secure Travelling Astronomical Companion, but Ruby calls it Stacy). Stacy is designed to help make simple things easier, but isn’t exactly perfect yet, or ready for actual space travel. Still, if there’s anything Ruby needs, chances are Stacy will find a solution.

 Aside from her new career and her story, she’s an average woman who enjoys learning new things and exploring the unknown. She lives in her small apartment not far from the commercial space station and studies amateur astronomy as a hobby, as well as anything that might spark her interest. She hopes that her new opportunities will finally give her the time and funds to do what she loves.
